Bures railway station is on the Gainsborough Line, a branch off the Great Eastern Main Line to , in the East of England, serving the village of Bures, which straddles the counties of Essex and Suffolk. It is down-line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Sudbury and . Its three-letter station code is BUE. The station is currently operated by Abellio Greater Anglia, which also runs all trains serving the station. It is unstaffed and has one platform as the line is single-track. The line and station opened in 1865.
